Riskee And The Ridicule play Kings Lynn Workers Club 01/07/2017

Riskee And The RidiculeWe are pleased to say we will be playing the Kings Lynn Workers Club on the 1st July, bringing our usual explosive live performance to the stage. The Kings Lynn Workers Club has built a reputation as a music venue, particularly Northern Soul and we are looking forward to our own style to the venue.

We’ll be playing tracks from our latest album “Blame Culture” and you can hear it now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer and Bandcamp. We are so overwhelmed with the response we have had to the album so far and it has already received critical acclaim:

  • ‘One of the best bands on the UK underground punk scene, catch them now on their way to the top…’ 9/10 – THE PUNK ARCHIVE
  • ‘Grime influenced punk poetry that rivals John Cooper Clarke’ – VIVE LE ROCK
  • ‘A contender for album of the year’ – JONNY ‘ITCH’ FOX, THE KING BLUES
  • ‘Tracks of infectious energy like some glorious sonic vaccine’ 9/10 – BANNED REVIEWS
  • ‘Your next favourite band’ 9/10 – MUSICALLY FRESH

Dan Stoten from The Punk Archive reviewing the album:

I seriously think that this is a special piece of music, a special piece of art that the world needs right now. Some of the highlights here aren’t just album highlights: they’re genre highlights, decade highlights. I’m so proud of this band for producing what can only be called a masterpiece.

Give Blame Culture a listen and if you missed it first time around check out our first album Dawn Of The Dog. See you at the gig!
