Riskee And The Ridicule play Boston Music Room, London 20/10/2017

“NU-PUNK, NU-SOUND, NU-ATTITUDE. Punk-rock and grime are uniting as one common voice for the disenfranchised!”Riskee And The Ridicule Boston Music Rooms 20th October 2017

We are excited to announce that we will be a part of two very special shows full of punk, poetry and grime on 20th October at the Boston Music Room in London with Louise Distras, Kenneths, TINY K & The Collective and WITCH FEVER. Fusing the two genres is something we’ve always done naturally, so being able to be a part of something that promotes the communities and their voices together, across all generations from 14+, means the world.

This isn’t all though, we have something else very special lined up for you lot to coincide with this gig and as a big thank you to our fans – so keep your eyes peeled for part two of the announcement soon…!

Tickets for the shows are ON SALE NOW and available here: https://www.livenation.co.uk/artist/louise-distras-tickets

We will be showcasing our latest tunes from our album “Blame Culture” available now on iTunesSpotifyAmazonDeezer and Bandcamp. We are so overwhelmed with the response we have had to the album so far and it has already received critical acclaim:

  • ‘GRIME INFLUENCED PUNK POETRY THAT RIVALS JOHN COOPER CLARKE’ – VIVE LE ROCK
  • A CONTENDER FOR ALBUM OF THE YEAR’ – JONNY ‘ITCH’ FOX, THE KING BLUES
  • TRACKS OF INFECTIOUS ENERGY LIKE SOME GLORIOUS SONIC VACCINE’ 9/10 – BANNED REVIEWS
  • YOUR NEXT FAVOURITE BAND’ 9/10 – MUSICALLY FRESH

Dan Stoten from The Punk Archive reviewing the album:

I seriously think that this is a special piece of music, a special piece of art that the world needs right now. Some of the highlights here aren’t just album highlights: they’re genre highlights, decade highlights. I’m so proud of this band for producing what can only be called a masterpiece.

Give Blame Culture a listen and if you missed it first time around check out our first album Dawn Of The Dog. See you at the gig!
